Wirksworth Baptist Church

We are located on Coldwell Street in Wirksworth, just down the hill from the Market Place and the Town Hall. There is parking on the Market Place and behind the United Reformed Church at Barmote. Click here for a map of the town centre.

We meet each Sunday at 10:15am for Morning Worship. There are suitable activities for children. We have recently upgraded our premises - why not come and have a look?

Breaking news... our heating is being fixed!

Because our old boiler has been condemned we meet for worship in the Church Hall downstairs. This means comfy chairs and almost instant access to the coffee after church!

The rooms are in constant use for various activities:

Sunday   10:15am Morning Worship and Sunday Club

Monday    9:30am Aquabox Tablet Packing

                  7:00pm TGs

Tuesday  10am - 12 noon Coffee for Shoppers

Thursday  7:30pm Bible Study

We are a welcoming community ranging in age from 5 to 90 .

We have completed a major refurbishment of our downstairs hall, kitchen and toilet facilities. We now have disabled access to the whole building and the facilities to cater for a range of different functions.
